Is that the official name of the school? Or is it Sixth Form Government Secondary School? Is this Polytech? As it stands it's likely to get VfD'd (schools are always controvertial) bu if we can get it fleshed up a bit people ae likely to leave it alone (it's easier to protect an article that looks substantial than it is to save an article from VfD). Guettarda 17:41, 27 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

WP:VfD - votes for deletion. If people come across pages that they think don't belong in an encyclopaedia they put them up for deletion, and the community votes. Actually, it's a tiny fraction of the community who spend their time of VfD. Anyway, many people believe that schools are non-notable unless proven otherwise. So it's always a good idea to assert notability in a school. People have criteria somewhere, but since it isn't official policy I have no idea where they are. Nonetheless, the more information, the better. Guettarda 04:22, 28 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

West Indies Cricket

[edit]

Hi Nigel. Over at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Cricket they are looking for any pictures related to West Indies cricket to use in the article - anything at all - crowd shots, players, anything - so I thought I might ask you if you had any you might be willing to release under a copyleft or free license. Thanks - Guettarda 11:59, 20 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Information and Communications Technology Society of Trinidad and Tobago, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. — mholland 12:33, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Trinbago! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 179 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. A tag has been placed on The Hummingbird Tree, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited I Hate Valentine's Day, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Corbett (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of The Hollow Men (film)

[edit]

Hello Trinbago,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The Hollow Men (film) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. scope_creep 23:25, 1 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Trinidadian local elections, 2016

[edit]

Hi, I'm TonyBallioni. Trinbago, thanks for creating Trinidadian local elections, 2016!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Hi, thanks for your contribution. Your article doesn't have sources needed for verification, and I've added a tag to it. The bullet point format can also be a bit confusing. I'd be happy to help with the syntax, but can't without sources.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. TonyBallioni (talk) 16:58, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
